Tokugawa mausoleum - 徳川家霊台

If you are not interested in Japanese history. It might be boring with my pix a few times from here. first of all... Its on Koyasan, Wakayama.

Here is Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hidetada. It was build in 1640.

Koyasan - 高野山

Koyasan is sect of Japanese Buddhism. Its located in an 800m high valley amid the eight peaks of the mountain in Wakayama pref. very beautiful layers of mountain....There is Okunoin which has lots of tombs of Sengoku warloads and famous people.
高野山は日本の仏教の聖地です。ユネスコ世界自然遺産にも指定されています。奥の院には武将の廊や有名人などのお墓があります。

Nijo Castle - 二条城

This is one of my favourite castles. located in Kyoto. This was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1601. Ieyasu met Toyotomi Hideyori here. When Osaka Fuyu no jin (Osaka Winter war) occured, Ieyasu fielded from here. There were many historical events took place here.
二条城は好きなお城のひとつです。1601年に徳川家康によって築城され、家康が豊臣秀頼に会見したのもこの二条城です。大阪冬の陣では、家康はここから出陣しています。また、大政奉還が行われた場所でもあり、歴史に残るイベントが数多く行われた場所でもあります。

Kiyomizudera - 清水寺

beautiful colours

Don't know where is from but there is a story before. If you jumped off from here and survive, your wish came true. if you died, Kannon buddha was beside you...so more than 230 people actually jumped off in Edo era then Meiji Govenment banned people to jump off....wow...
どこから来た話か不明だけども、願掛けでここから飛び降りて助かれば願いは叶い、助からなくても観音様のそばで成仏できるという話があり、実際、江戸時代には230人以上の人が飛び込んだため、飛び込み禁止令を政府が出したらしい・・・wow.

famous stone, Close your eyes here, If you walk up to other small stone without looking, your romance will come true.
