There is an amateur photo competition in Kochi at the mo. Theme was all about Kochi. not only for sight-seeing spots tho.
Three of my pics were chosen on first half one. and now, last half, Five of my pics were chosen!!! Now its on public for voting! It was good start for myself like person who started taking pics last May! and gave me a great motivation!

Beta Band- Dry the Rain

This is the band called Beta Band which I listened to all the time before. yeah when I was early 20s. I've just watched one of my fave movie, "High Fidelity". Ive watched this so many times over and over again! John Cusack in this movie is really great actually. there were bands names appeared in this movie. The bata bands is one of them.

（昔、良く聞いてたザ・ベータバンドっていうバンド。久しぶりに大好きな映画の一つ、「ハイフィデリティ」をみたら、このバンドの曲が流れて、久しぶりにこちらも聞いてみました。この映画のジョン・キューザックは本当にgreat！！）

Its small mountain town in Kochi. Niyodogawa-cho. It was rainy and foggy day. This is where I played everyday when I was a kid.

The Twenty-six Martyrs of Japan - 日本26聖人殉教地

This is last pics for Nagasaki trip.

Its very sad place. 26 Christians were executed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. 20 of Japanese, 4 of Spanish, 1 of Portuguese and 1 of Mexican. It said, There were history that Christians burnt down some temples and monks were persecuted by christians. (but Where the Dainyo was a buddhism, christians were persecuted by monks in that area.) One incident occurred such as some Japanese people were sold as slave by foreign businessman and foreign christians. therefore, Toyotomi Hideyoshi granted of banned christian and ejected them from Japan. This is memorial for these 26 christians.

Suwa Shrine - 諏訪神社

I like to visit shrines. Its not exception in Nagasaki as well. There are lots of steps to go up to this shrine. It was really hot day and was so tired walking around steep roads in Nagasaki already. but got great view from up there.

It was told $10000000's night view from this mountain in Nagasaki. was absolutely beautiful but was fucking cold up there.
