Buddhism statues - いろんな仏像など

One of my favourite things to do is visiting temples and shrines. so far, I was only focused on buildings but once you discover, Buddihism statues are interesting stuff. cos they have lots of meanings.

This is one of famous sight-seeing spots in Kochi where huge Ryoma statue is. Ocean is beautiful but I prefer to Ohki beach (west Kochi) more.

Mt.Fuji - 富士山

I went to Fujiyoshida five years ago. I didn't have a good camera, pics are rubbish here actually at this mo....but Mt.fuji is still beautiful.

The Golden Pavilion - 金閣寺

The Golden Pavilion is one of very famous Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto. The original Kinkaku-ji was built in 1397. In 1477; Onin no ran period, It was a westside army's home. then most of main buildings were lost by war. but They were re-built in Edo era. However,It was burned down by a monk named Hayashi Yoken, who attempted suicide on the Daimon-ji hill behind the building in 1950. It was rebuilt in 1955. This is one of World culture heritages.　

金閣寺は京都で有名なお寺のひとつで、1397年に建築されました。しかし、1477年の応仁の乱では、西軍の陣となり、主要な建築物は消失しました。その後、江戸時代に再構築されましたが、1950年に住職林養賢が金閣寺の裏で自殺を図り、金閣寺は焼失。（詳細は三島由紀夫の小説「金閣寺」）1955年に立て直されました。世界文化遺産。

Onomichi - 尾道

some kinda Japanese Drama or movie's famous place. Can you recognize? （日本のドラマか映画で使われた場所らしいです。何かわかる？（A.たぶん転校生？）

My friend and I tried to make our own buddha. Monk taught us how to make it. Aren't they cute? Monk said to us, my friend's one (left) looked like westerner. (maybe because He is from NZ.) （尾道のお寺でお地蔵さんを作りました。お寺の住職さんいわく、友達の作ったお地蔵さんは欧米人みたいと・・・。実際、友達はニュージーランド出身です!）

This has a bit different bell to wish. You turn all balls till the red one comes to the top. then make your wish. （赤いボールが上にくるまで回してお祈りします。）

This place is near from my parents house. (yes, Its inaka..)
I went there often in summertime when I was a child. very cooler place in summer.

New year's resolution, wanna have a beautiful flower in my heart no matter what happened.
（今年の抱負、何があってもキレイな花を心にもっておきたいものです。）

I took this moon pic by Nikon D40. then trimmed. defo, SLR is great. even I made pic larger, still there is no noize in. wonderful. （ニコンD40で撮影、その後トリミングしました。さすが一眼、トリミングしてもノイズがありません！ワンダフォー!!)
